The paper discussed on the possibility of developing drug-induced damage liability insurance in China.It analyzed the concept and current situation of drug-induced damage.Then it offered frame suggestions on developing related liability insurance and elaborated on some key issues,including insurance period,insurable and uninsurable liability,and benefit payment,etc.The paper concluded that this liability insurance could protect patients′ interest and promote social well-being.Furthermore,issues like government promotion,improving on the medical service system,construction of data report system and drug tracing-back database should also be taken into consideration.
