| Abstract: | Turkey＇s gold management system has gradually moved towards marketization from the 1980s along with its economic system reform. Turkey＇s domestic gold is mainly traded at the Istanbul Gold Exchange by means of physical gold trading and gold loan transaction. This article introduces the development history of the Turkish gold market, the operational framework of the Istanbul Gold Exchange and the relevant regulatory policies for its gold market. |
