Spatial-temporal Pattern of Regional Economic Disparities in Guizhou Province |

| Abstract: | Based on the the county area and GDP per capita,The sigma and variation coefficients are applied in this paper in order to show temporal changes of regional economic difference of Guizhou Province between in 1978-2009.while the 11 economies development indicators are used to measure the different levels of economic development about 82 counties by principal component and cluster analysis.The county-level economy of Guizhou Province can be classified into four categories： developed area,under-developed area,less developed area,and underdeveloped area.This study shows that regional economic difference is distinct and the spatial pattern of regional economic differences in Guizhou Province. |
