| 摘 要： | 代称在英汉两种语言中都有广泛应用 ,但由于使用范围的差别及文化背景的不同 ,英语代称的理解及翻译有一定的难度 ,为此探讨了英语中代称的定义、用法、译法及其修辞效果 ,并对英汉代称的应用范围进行了相应的比较。

| Abstract: | Antonomasia has been widely used both in the Chinese and English language. However, owing to the differences concerning the range of usage in the two languages as well as that of cultural background, it is really difficult to understand and translate antonomasia in the English language. It inquires into the definition, usage, translation as well as the effect brought about by the figures of speech created by antonomasia in the English language. It, at the same time, makes a comparison of the applied range of antonomasia between English and Chinese. |
