| Abstract: | CITICS' acquisition of GF Securities in Sept. of 2004 was the first true marketing Tender Offer case, but CITICS finally lost after 43-but it affects both security industry and acquisition in China. This article explores why CITICS attempted to acquire GF Securities, failure of the acquisition, and it also makes insightful analysis from this case. |
