A Model of Tapping Agriculture Resource in Changbaishan Area |

| Abstract: | China has vast montane area. How to help the farmers who live in montane area become richer is the core of current rural work and the goal being pursued by hundreds of millions farmers in China. After 15 years' search and practice in Changbaishan area, Jilin Province, it is found that the key to realizing effective and sustainable utilization of agriculture resource in montane area and helping the farmers become richer is to establish an adjustable eco-economic development model with three-dimensioned net. Such model should be multi-layer, multi-direction, multi-function, complementary, efficient and comprehensive system that can assure sustainable utilization of agriculture resource and realization of remarked economic, social and ecological benefit. |
