| 摘 要： | 城市化是西部开发的突破口和必要措施，旅游业作为一个新的增长点能加强城市化进程，分析了旅游业的四大功能对西部城市化驱动的可能性，并在指明旅游业存在的问题对城市经的负面影响的基础上，提出了旅游业发展对西部城市化驱动的基本战略。

| Abstract: | Urbanization is a breakthrough and a necessary measure in the exploitation of western regions. Tourism industry can accelerate the urbanization as a new motive force. This article analyzes the possibilities of the four functions of tourism to prompt the urbanization in the west. Meanwhile, it puts forward some proposals on the dynamic prompting of tourism to the urbanization in the west on the basis of pointing out the problems of tourism. |
