高效率谐波调谐功率放大器的发展综述

摘    要:作为发射机中耗能最高的器件,功率放大器(功放)产生的热量也最多,提升其效率对整个系统至关重要,因此关于提高功放效率的研究从未间断。回顾了谐波调谐功放的数学推导过程,讨论了其提升功放性能的数学原理,从增益、效率和输出功率等方面对比了各种谐波功放的性能,在此基础上总结了各类型谐波控制功放的特点及其发展现状。随后将其与近年来流行的连续模功放进行了比较,归纳了连续模功放的特点及其与谐波调谐功放的联系。最后指出了谐波调谐功放的发展趋势。

Abstract:As the most power consumption devices in a transmitter,power amplifiers(PAs) generate the maximum amount of heat.Their performance in efficiency is crucial to the efficiency of the whole system.Therefore,the research on high efficiency PA remains hot over the years.The derivation of the harmonic tuned power amplifier(HTPA) is briefly reviewed and the mathematical theory related to the improvements of HTPA is discussed.The performance of various HTPAs are compared from the aspects of gain,efficiency and output power.The features and development status of HTPAs are summarized.The state art of continuous mode PAs are compared with the HTPAs,and the relationship between continuous mode PAs and harmonic tuned PAs is presented.Finally,the developing trend of HTPAs is pointed out.
