中国城镇居民家庭基本需求支出对总消费需求的影响分析

在等级需求中,最低生存商品的跨期替代弹性最小,因此,绝对贫穷的消费者不能较大地改变消费以获得跨时激励的好处,其增加的收入将大部分用于增加现期消费。通过扩展的线性支出系统需求函数实证分析中国城镇居民1992—2002年的基本需求支出,可看出,困难户和最低收入户家庭的收入长期低于居民的基本需求支出水平。

The Effects of Minimum Consumption Expenditure on Total Consumption in China's Urban Households

In the hierarchic demand, the minimum goods have the least intertempora l elasticity of substitution.Therefore, the household whose income is below the threshold income necessary for subsistence is not able to change his consumption plan so as to get the intertemporal stimulus. As a result,these households will spend most of their increased income on the current consumption expenditure.Thi s paper,with the help of Extended Linear Expenditure System,empirically investig ates China's household minimum consumption expenditure during 1992 2002.The co nclusion is that the income of the poor households and the least income househol ds has been below the minimum consumption expenditure during this period.
