Xinqicai Opens as the Biggest Second-hand Market in Beijing

On January 16, Xinqicai Commercial Center was opened in Chaoyang district, in the expansion area of Central Business District (CBD). It is also called "Beijing’s biggest second-hand goods market" and "China’s first second-hand sales corridor for white-collars". It is considered the biggest second-hand market for its scale, commodity variety, and number of personnel. The "second-hand sales corridor" for white-collars is planned to open in June 2010. According to the market, it conducted a survey in over 30 large residential communities around CBD early on, and many white-collars and residents expressed the wish to exchange second-hand goods with others. The market sees it as an opportunity for development and is confident of its future success. The market has certainly done a good job in providing supporting measures such as strict measures for entrance of goods in the market.
