老党员不泯的红色记忆

夏庄，山东省莒县最南端的一个乡镇，坐落于沂蒙山区东部。这里曾经是中国革命战争的主要战场，如今聚集着400多名八九十岁的老共产党员。他们大部分是在抗日战争和解放战争的血雨腥风岁月里立下过赫赫战功的耄耋老人。这些当年打鬼子、抗顽敌的沂蒙铁汉和做军鞋、送军粮的沂蒙“红嫂”，为中国的革命事业做出了巨大贡献。战争结束，硝烟散尽，他们没有留在城市，没向党和政府提出任何要求，而是从战场返回家乡，种田耕地，过着老百姓平淡无奇的日子。

Red Memories

Xiazhuang is a town located in the southernmost tip ol Junan County in the eastern area of Yimeng Mountainregion in Shandong Province. This area was a main battlefield in China＇s revolutionary＇ wars. Nowadays, more than 400 old CPC members in their eighties or nineties are living here. Most of them rendered remarkable contributions to the War of Resistance against Japan and the Chinese Liberation War. After the wars were over, they did not stay in tile cities. Instead of putting forward any requirement to the government, they returned to their hometown from the battlefield and lived a common life by relying on tilling the land in the countryside.
