Newspaper Research
Abstract:This research paper assesses the recent past and antic- ipated research practices of a random sample of U.S. newspapers. Past and anticipated participation in circulation, advertising, and ed- itorial research was assessed. Dimensions of interest were method- ologies utilized, expenditures, and providers of the research. This research provides the first cross-sectional of practices of U.S. news- papers and allows a baseline for assessing future research practices.
