长沙、株洲、湘潭是地处湘东北部依湘江而筑的城市群,具有丰富的旅游资源,但由于长期以来当地政府和旅游开发商在旅游开发建设中缺乏对旅游环境问题的重视,使旅游活动范围和程度超过了自然环境的承载力,导致旅游地生态环境恶化,旅游资源失去了其天然景观特征,严重阻碍了当地旅游业的可持续发展。本文在全面阐释旅游环境概念的基础上,分析了该城市群旅游环境所面临的主要问题,并对区域旅游环境保护对策进行了探讨。
