Problems and measures for development of water resources in Hulun Buir City

The water shortage is one of the most important reasons to restrict the development of Hulun Buir City. The problems of water conservation, water conservancy facilities, residents'' drinking water safety and management system in the development of water resources in Hulun Buir City are analyzed. The mode of sustainable development and utilization of water resources and measures are put forward from four aspects, investment and finance of water conservancy, construction of water conservancy projects, water ecological protection and management and reform of water conservancy system. On the basis of rational development and utilization of water resources, the water demand is achieved and the water security is ensured so as to realize the healthy and sustainable development of economy and society in Hulun Buir City.
