国际收支经常账户余额规模决定因素研究

本文使用涵盖高收入国家、中高收入国家、中低收入国家、低收入国家的大样本来研究国际收支经常账户余额的决定因素。文章采取"储蓄—投资"研究视角,使用截面和面板回归技术检验不同收入国家组别一段时间内经常账户变化的情况。文章发现,在不同收入水平下,净外国资产/GDP、实际有效汇率、人口结构、实际利率、通货膨胀率、金融深化、财政余额占GDP比例、贸易条件变动率等因素对于经常账户余额有着不同的影响效果。

A Study of the Determinants in Current Account Balances

This paper provides an empirical investigation of the determinants of current accounts for a large sample of countries, including high income, upper & lower-middle income and low income countries. The analysis is based on a structural approach that highlights the roles of the fundamental macroeconomic determinants of saving and investment. Cross-section and panel regression techniques are used to characterize the properties of current account variation across countries and over time. We find that different economic variables have different effects on current account balances.
