如何看待城市思想的继续发展和端正城市规划建设指导思想的关系 ,这是认识当前我国城市形势的核心所在。城市思想应当继续发展 ;城市规划建设指导思想中出现的问题必须认真解决。用一句话概括 :中国的城市必须发展 ,中国的城市必须理性地发展。这个基本认识我觉得非常重要。应当辨证地认识这个问题 ,来不得片面性。

How to treat the relationship between the developing of urban thoughts and correcting the guidelines of urban planning and construction? This is the core point to understand the current urban situation. The urban thoughts should keep developing and the problems coming from the guidelines of planning and construction must be solved seriously. In a word, The Chinese cities have to develop, and further, Chinese cities must develop in a rational way, this is very critical in my eyes. This prolem should be seen dialectically with no bias.
