大“珠三角”地区城市经济增长因素分析——基于面板随机前沿模型

文章使用超越对数生产函数估算大"珠三角"地区从1988—2009年间主要城市全要素生产率(TFP)的增长,并基于随机前沿模型将TFP进一步分解为技术进步、生产效率和规模经济。研究结果显示:第一,生产要素的积累对大"珠三角"地区城市经济增长的作用是温和的,而全要素生产率的增长平均约占大多数城市的50%;第二,城市化率、各城市GDP中第三产业的比重、基础设施水平、人力资源水平、经济对外依存度等对城市生产效率具有正面影响,而城市规模与城市生产效率之间呈负相关关系;第三,全要素生产率的增长率主要是由生产效率的变化率决定,其次是技术进步率,而在大多数城市均呈现出规模不经济。

Analysis of Economic Growth Factors of Cities in "Greater Pearl River Delta"——Based on SFA Model

This paper aims to study the productivity growth of the Greater Pearl River Delta from 1988 to 2009 at the city level.A stochastic frontier model with a trans-log production function is used to estimate the TFP growth and its three attributes,which are technological progress,technical efficiency and scale effect.Our study shows that:(1) The contribution of input factors to the economic growth in Greater Pearl River Delta is moderate,while the growth of TFP accounts for about 50% of the economic growth in average;(2) Urbanization rate,the proportion of tertiary industry in GDP,infrastructure,human resources,foreign economy dependence are important factors for efficiency improvement,but the size of city is harmful to economic efficiency;(3) Technical efficiency is the main driving force for TFP,and technological progress is in the next place,while there are diseconomies of scale in most cities.
