| Abstract: | this essay is aimed to explore the differences between English and Chinese from three aspects. Firstly, English is hypotactic, while Chinese is paratactic; secondly, passive voice is more often used in English than that in Chinese; thirdly, the expressions of English is stative, on the contrary, Chinese is dynamic. |
