切尔诺夫脸谱图表现中国各省生活质量

本文根据已有评价体系思想,选取人均GDP,森林覆盖率等数据,首次运用切尔诺夫脸谱图在地图上直观表现中国各省国民幸福状况,并运用因子分析计算出各省国民幸福指数（national happiness index,NHI）。从代表各省幸福状况脸谱图的＂表情＂差异,可以明显看出中国国民幸福程度呈现不平衡分布,东部较中、西部呈现明显优势。因子分析的结果表明经济因子、环境因子、教育因子和社会因子是影响中国国民幸福程度的四大方面,进而由因子得分计算出中国31个省份幸福指数。通过对人均GDP及国民幸福指数的比较发现一个地区经济越发达,人们所感到的幸福程度就相对越高。因此,发展经济仍是提升国民幸福指数的有效方式。

Mapping Quality of Life with Chernoff Faces in China

Based on the existing evaluation system,variables like regional GDP per Capital and percentage of forest cover are chosen to describe the life quality in China.In this article,Chernoff Faces drawn from these variables are distributed in a Chinese map to represent the happiness of Chinese people in different provinces.Meanwhile,National Happiness Index(NHI) is generated from factor analysis to evaluate and compare the degrees of happiness among Chinese provinces.The map with Chernoff Faces successfully captured the spatial distribution of happiness in China.It is obvious to see the non-equilibrium of happiness from the map that eastern China shows a considerable advantage compared with the central and western regions.Result of factor analysis shows that economic factor,environmental factor,educational factor and social factor are the main sources of happiness.NHI is then calculated from these factor scores for each province.By comparing the distribution of regional GDP per capital and NHI,this work finds that the more developed economics of a region,the higher degree of happiness the people will feel.In the cases of not been fully developed,improving local economics is still an effective way to enhance people’s happiness level.
