运用项目反应理论,依据劳动者社会资本、人力资本、财富资本的相关问卷数据,计算其能力资本,考量能力资本在父子收入传递之间的中介效应.结果发现:基于能力资本的代际收入弹性区间估计为0.42684,0.42996],提高子女的能力资本能够显著地提升其经济收入,父辈的经济收入可以显著的提升子女综合能力资本,子女的学习能力资本与工作能力资本在收入的代际传递之间具有不完全中介效应.

The Effect of Capacity Capital on Intergenerational Income Elasticity

This article calculates the capacity capital base on the social capital,human capital and wealth capital using the Item Response Theory,and analyzes the mediating effect of capacity capital on the intergenerational transmission of income.The estimate for intergenerational income elasticity based on the capacity capital varies between 0.42684 and 0.42996.Improving children's capacity capital can significantly increase their economic income.Parents'economic income can significantly improve their children's comprehensive capacity capital.The children's learning and working capacity plays an incomplete mediator in the transmission mechanism between genera-tions.
