Quality Monitoring Report of New Rice in Liaoning Province in 2020

In order to timely understand the quality of corn in Liaoning in 2020, provide a scientific basis for the central reserve corn purchase, and monitor the quality of newly harvested rice, the monitoring was conducted mainly by field sampling and supplemented by courtyard sampling. A total of 8 main rice producing counties in Shenyang, Anshan, Fushun, Dandong, Jinzhou, Yingkou, Liaoyang and Panjin were monitored. A total of 234 samples were collected, representing a quantity of 201 100 tons. According to the national standard method of japonica rice, the main quality and fatty acid quality indicators such as roughness, whole rice rate, yellow grain rice, chalky grain rate, etc. are detected, and the test results are analyzed. The output of japonica rice in Liaoning in 2020 is higher than that in 2019, and the quality is slightly lower than that in 2019. Among them, the proportion of japonica rice of grade 3 and above is 95.35%, which is 2.85% lower than that in 2019, and the chalky grain is higher than that in 2019.
