Determination of Dehydroacetic Acid in Food by Gas Chromatography

Abstract:The sample was extracted by n-hexane,the n-hexane layer was discarded,ethyl acetate was added,nitrogen was blown to near dry,and the volume was fixed with ethyl acetate to 1 mL.Gas phase detector for FID,external standard method quantification.The results show that in the range of 0.10~10.00 mg·L-1,the linear equation y=21091x+19260 and the correlation coefficient is 0.9992.The recoveries of dehydroacetic acid were 71.0%~87.7%,and the relative standard deviations(n=6)of the determination results were 1.69%~3.93%.The limit of detection was 1.15×10-5g·kg-1and the limit of quantification was 2.08×10-4g·kg-1.This method has the advantages of simple extraction process,convenient operation,accurate and reliable results and good reproducibility.
