2012年5月,济南市组织实施＂千村（社区）提升＂工程,以全市1000个贫困村和工作薄弱村（社区）为重点,采取＂第一书记牵头、所在单位挂钩、工作组常驻帮扶＂的办法,确保3年内绝大部分帮扶对象得到转化升级。一间不到15平米的小屋,里面有一张办公桌、一张折叠床、一个书柜和几把椅子。这便是济南市公交总公司驻长清区万德镇石家屋村＂第一书记＂裴东林的办公室、宿舍兼厨房。2012年5月,作为党组织确定的＂第一书记＂人选,43岁的裴东林被派驻到石家屋村开始了自己的农村工作生涯。

PAYING ATTENTION TO DETAILS

As a saying goes, ＂want to be rich, build a road first＂. Infrastructure construction is the necessary prerequisite for Lregional development. But traffic problems have long been animportant bottleneck restricting rural economies. In 2012, Pei Donglin who was serving as the deputy manager of the third subsidiary of Jinan Public Transportation Corporation was appointed the first secretary in Shijiawu Village. He spent more than three months living and working with the villagers for the building of the road which would facilitate the transportation and sale of cherries. The whole village was in jubilation when construction of the 5.6-kilometer long road was finished. The villagers said that the achievements were credited to Pei Donglin who had devoted and suffered a lot for working here.
