| 摘 要： | 在乌江流域民族地区124座古镇中,绝大多数在历史上是乌江流域政治、经济、文化中心或交通枢纽.该地区的古镇呈现出沿流域分布、沿驿道分布、与土司制度有关和与军事卫所有关等特点.建国以来,特别是西部大开发以来,乌江流域的古镇遭到了不同程度的毁灭和破坏.有的全部拆毁、有的面目全非、有的被水淹没、或仅有少数幸存得以保护,其现状不容乐现.要保护好乌江流域民族地区古镇,必须采取有效措施,一是形成共识,全民保护;二是建立保护古镇文化遗产的专门机构;三是摸清?家底,制定保护规划;四是制定地方性的古镇文化保护条例;五是保护古代建筑;六是保护古镇环境;七是重视古镇保护与旅游开发有机结合.研究乌江流域民族地区古镇的特征、现状与保护,既有助于深入了解山地型古镇的历史与特点.也有利于有效的保护古镇文化遗产与合理地开发古镇的文化价值.
