经济效率的决定框架:技术、资本与闲暇——兼对日本和丹麦的实证检验

传统的经济增长理论在考察增长时主要关注其规模与速度,本文认为随着对经济发展质量的日益重视,经济效率问题同样需要关注.本文注意到,传统增长模型主要涉及工作时间内的生产,但闲暇时间不但对工作时间形成替代,其中的活动还对个体素质及其工作效率有互补作用.为此,本文将闲暇时间引入内生增长模型,并用"时人均GDP"来衡量经济效率,建立经济效率模型,模型显示:受教育时间和闲暇时间是影响经济效率的重要因素,但这种作用是非线性的.随后,通过引用跨国数据对模型进行检验,结果表明:经济效率的最主要决定因素是技术因素,其次是受教育时间,闲暇时间最初对经济效率有负作用,但随着经济发展水平的提高,闲暇时间的增加有利于经济效率的提高.

A New Model of Economic Efficiency Determination——Empirical Evidence from Japan and Denmark

Traditional models concerning economic growth focus on components like economic scale and development speed.Yet,with the growing concern on the quality of economic development,the issue of economic efficiency deserves more attention.Observing that traditional models concerning economic efficiency mainly involve productivity within working hours,this paper believes that leisure time not merely substitutes working time but also plays a positive role in individual's abilities as well as working efficiency,by means of leisure activities.As a result,leisure time is introduced into our model of economic growth.And "per capita GDP per hour" is employed to evaluate economic efficiency and to build the model of economic efficiency.In addition,this model is testified using global data.The research shows that technology is the most important determinant of economic efficiency,and the amount of time for education ranks second.As to leisure time,despite negative role in economic efficiency at the beginning,it turns to have positive correlation with the raising of economic efficiency as level of economic development improves.
