进一步提高外汇交易平台的运行效率

2008年2月26日,中国外汇交易中心发布2007年度银行间外汇市场优秀做市商、优秀会员和优秀交易员名单。根据此次评选,汇丰银行荣获最佳交易规范奖、交易优秀奖、外币对优秀会员、外币对优秀做市商、外币对最佳IT支持做市商五个奖项,该行交易员林燕、张小超、王览被评为优秀交易员。该行在银行间人民币外汇市场与外币市场中积极履行做市任务,积累了丰富的经验。对于进一步发展银行间外汇市场,该行亦提出应尽快建立集中净额清算系统,以解决授信额度不足等建议。

Further enhance operational efficiency of FX trading platform

On February 26, 2008, the China Foreign Exchange Trade System （CFETS） named the Excellent Market Makers, Members and Traders for the 2007 interbank FX market. In the CFETS honors lists, HSBC won five awards： Most-Disciplined Member, Excellent Member, Excellent Member in FX Pairs, Excellent Market-Maker in FX Pairs and Best IT-Supported Market-Maker in FX pairs. Three HSBC dealers, Lin Yan, Zhang Xiaochao and Wang Lan, were among the Excellent Traders. In the interbank RMB/FX and FX pairs market, HSBC has actively fulfilled its market-making responsibility and acquired rich experience in the business. For further development of the interbank FX market, HSBC recommends that a centralized net settlement system should be set up as soon as possible, so as to address the problem of inadequate line of credit.
