福建高职贫困生心理健康及人格特征调查

Investigation and Analysis on the Mental Health and Personality of Poor Students of Vocational College in Fujian Province

In order to study the mental health and personality of poor students of vocational colleges in Fujian province, we have done a survey to 244 poor students and 118 non -poor students from four vocational colleges in our province, and compared those of the two groups. The results are the followings： There is no difference between the poor students and non -poor students on the mental health, both are healthy. The personality of non- poor students is more inclined to be bilious but the personality of non - poor students is more inclined to be phlegm. Neroticism is highly correlative to mental health and its all dimensionalities. There is little correlation between the personality of introversion and extroversion and the mental health for non - poor students, and some correlation for poor students, which refutes the statement that introversive person is likely to have the problems of mental health.
