外资银行的中国战略研究

在中国加入WT0后银行业对外开放的背景下,外资银行对中国银行业的影响范围和深度都逐渐加大.本文分析了外资银行的中国战略及其对中资银行的影响,认为:一方面,中资银行应对外资银行在华的发展现状及其动态进行深入研究,并对其市场进入战略、客户与业务拓展战略、地域拓展战略以及竞争与合作战略采取积极的对策;另一方面,从中国金融体系的高度出发,外资银行的中国战略顺利实施及其在中国的进一步扩张,在某种程度上是符合中国银行业未来发展趋势的,有利于增强中国金融体系的稳定性和竞争力.

China Strategy for Foreign-Funded Banks

Under the backdrop of the opening of banking industry after China's accession into WTO, foreign-funded banks are expanding their influence on Chinese banks both in scope and depth. In this paper, an analysis is made of foreign banks in terms of their China strategy and influence on Chinese banks. It is believed that on the one hand, Chinese banks should make a thorough study of the current development and trend of foreign-funded banks in China and take active measures to cope with their strategies concerning market entry, customer and business expansion, regional expansion and competition and cooperation; and on the other hand, they should keep the entire Chinese financial system in mind and view the successful materialization of China strategy by foreign-funded banks and their expansion in China as something in accord with the development trend of Chinese banks and conducive to the stability and competitiveness of Chinese financial industry.
