元认知理论与英语专业四级听写策略探讨

摘    要:听写是英语专业四级考试(TEM-4)中综合性强,难度较大的部分。本文根据学生课堂听写测试试卷分析,结合听写后的自评报告,指出听写过程中主要存在的问题有:听力理解过程中声音意向和单词不能匹配、短时记忆能力不强、听力策略意识淡薄,缺乏听力笔记技巧等;并且结合认知心理学中的"元认知"理论,针对性地从课前、课堂及课后三个阶段探讨了提高TEM-4听写能力的相关策略。

Abstract:Dictation is the most integrated and difficult part in TEM-4. Based on the in-class test and self-evaluation report, this paper firsdy points out exsisting problems in listening practice; Typical ones are the inability to match the sound and meaning of a word; lack of listening strategy; poor capability of short-term momery; incompetence in note-taking. Then in the light of meta-cognition theory, strategies for improving students" listening competence in TEM-4 dictation are discussed from three perspectives-pre-class, in-class and after-class strategy trainning.
