氧化改性活性炭吸附去除水相中磺胺类抗生素

摘    要:采用浓硫酸,浓硝酸,30%过氧化氢以及高锰酸钾溶液作为氧化剂,氧化改性活性炭以提高其对于水相中磺胺类抗生素的吸附能力。研究微波改性,浸渍改性,回流改性和超声辅助改性四种氧化方法对于活性炭吸附磺胺类抗生素能力的改善。实验结果表明,四种氧化剂氧化改性活性炭对于磺胺类抗生素的去除率均有明显提高,硝酸和硫酸改性可使去除率达到90%以上,但硫酸改性更适合大规模工业生产。回流改性是四种改性方法里最优的氧化方法。红外光谱和扫描电镜表征实验结果表明硫酸氧化改性会增加活性炭表面极性,但是会使微孔容积减小,由此推断这一吸附过程为化学吸附占主导地位。

Abstract:Activated carbons ( AC ) were modified by concentrated H 2 SO4 , concentrated HNO3 , 30%H2 O2 and KMnO4 solution to improve their sulfonamides adsorption capacity from aqueous solution .Microwave-assisted oxidation , impregnated oxidation , reflux oxida-tion and ultrasound -assisted oxidation were applied to modify AC to search for the most effi-cient way to improve their adsorption performance .Results showed that improvement of the AC adsorption capacity after oxidation treatments was remarkable .Specifically , removal rate of AC modified by concentrated H 2 SO4 and concentrated HNO 3 were both as high as 90%. The H2 SO4 -modification method was regarded as the most suitable method for industrial production .Reflux oxidation was the optimal way to oxidize AC .The surface chemical and pore structural properties of the AC were characterized by different techniques including FT-IR and SEM.Results showed that concentrated H 2 SO4 modified AC exhibit increased surface polarity ,in this way , the extent of porosity of the modified AC decreased .The adsorption ex-perimental data indicate that chemisorption was predominant in the adsorption process .
