The technological process of a bimetal composite pipe manufacturing using used in sea and the types and distribution of the defects occurred in the manufacturing process are introduced, and the key points and measures to quality control in inner surface treatment, hydraulic pressure combining, pipe end surfacing, pipe end processing and whole pipe test are proposed. It is pointed that the mechanic indexes and corrosion performance indexes of the bimetal composite pipe must be ensured and its size indexes can be appropriately relaxed in the manufacturing process.
