| Abstract: | One of the major applications of a simulation software for gas pipeline operation is peak shaving of gas supply system. In this paper, fundamentals of peak shaving are introduced first. Then, the development and application of simulation software for gas pipeline operation are reviewed, revealing the existing problems and the direction for improvement. Finally, the application of the software TGNET in the peak shaving of Shaanxi -Beijing Gas Pipeline is introduced. |
