This paper explains the reason for developing the databases of linkage kinematical simulation by use of VFP6.0.The key proints include the principle of kinematical simulation, the table structure of linkage mechanism parameters ,the method of how to draw linkage diagrams on forms ,the databases maintenance and so on .The software not only shows the moving linkage but also gives the kinematical analysis data and curve .It is helpful to machine theory teaching or linkage mechanism synthesis.
