通过实证分析发现,人力资本是湖南省经济增长最重要的决定因素之一。其中,高等教育人口比例提高对湖南省经济增长具有更大的推动作用。湖南省教育已经取得了巨大的成就,但是与发达地区相比存在很大差距。因此,应该继续夯实小学和中学教育基础,不断提高接受高等教育人口比重,为湖南省经济的持续、健康发展打下坚实基础。
