Evaluation of Resources-environment Foundation Supportability of Economic Growth in Tajikistan

In Tajikistan, the most economically underdeveloped country in Central Asia, there is an increasingly prominent contradiction between its economic social development and the protection as well as utilization of environment and resources. A scientific understanding of its foundation of economic advances will provide objective basis for the establishment of strategies in the social and economic development fields. A comprehensive evaluation of the natural resources support power has been made from the perspective of its supply and need balance to avoid the bias of estimating single environment factor. This clarifies the advantages and disadvantages of its resources and environment system and also guarantees the validity of the sustainable development.
