英语国家概况课程是高校英语专业学生的一门必修课。其目的在于开阔学生视野,拓宽知识面,丰富文化修养,培养并提高综合能力。为此,需构建＂以学生为主体＂的教学模式。在此过程中,教师与学生要树立正确的观念,采用多样教学方式、方法与手段,正确引导学生,加强教师的主导地位,突出其主导作用,并处理好教学中的各种问题,共同努力,互相配合,使教学达到尽善尽美。
