| Abstract: | Lord Jim is one of the masterpieces of Joseph Conrad devoted to the exploration of morality as some of Conrad's other novels.In this novel.the hero resembles Jesus in more than one aspect To probe into this likeness,and ,more importantly,the significance of the author's intention ,such personal qualities of Jim's are analyzed as his pursuit of purgation,benevolence,sympathy,forgiveness,returning good for evil,suffering for others,and so on. |
