| Abstract: | As is known to all, language and culture are inseparable, so language teaching and language learning must include culture teaching and learning. In EFL context, we can not be free of mother tongue culture while our dependence on target language culture is also quite necessary, thus cul- ture - oriented clashes are inevitable. This paper discusses and analyzes this phenomenon and some relevant theories and some suggestions for dealing with such clashes will be put forward as an attempt to search for a possible solution. |
