Abstract:This paper clarifies the relationship of programming and Computational Thinking. taking experimental teaching of C programming as an example, it discussed that how to train students' computational thinking and change the programming course from a simple "knowledge and technology teaching" up to "teaching thinking". Effective methods were discussed in detail on experimental design, assessment way, and teaching skills. The author' s practice during experimental class shows that the students' learning interest and thinking ability can be improved by using these ways.
