Five Perspectives In Understanding Sino-US Economic and Trade Frictions

During the past two years,the Sino-US trade friction has become a key problem to the global economy,drastically affecting both China and the US.However,this is an issue that does not have a short-term solution,so the topic of trade imbalance needs to be explored much further than surface level.The authors analyze the motives and implications of Sino-US trade friction throughout five distinct levels,by sorting out their industrial structure,trade structures,related policy measures and comparing the differences between the two countries’development systems and roads.In conclusion,the Sino-US economic trade friction includes disputes over the global economic status,the right to formulate the future economic trade rules,different economic systems and development paths,and more importantly a power struggle in the 21st century between China and the US.Therefore,the trade frictions between China and the US will last for a long time.China will continue to follow the path of reform and opening-up,achieving industrial upgrading and steady economic development.At the same time,China will take an active part in building a more inclusive and open global economy with a new international economic order.
