Research on the impact of trade uncertainty on Chinese enterprises and its countermeasures--From the perspective of Sino-US trade friction

Based on the new trends in the Sino-US trade friction, the paper conducts a research on how Chinese enterprises should respond to the risks posed by the Sino-US trade friction. After reviewing the historical issues concerning the friction, the paper focuses on new trends in the friction to analyze how Chinese enterprises are generally affected by it. The study finds that the impact caused by trade uncertainty under the background of the Sino-US trade friction includes tariff increase, surging business operating costs, damage to the supporting manufacturing industry chain, and imbalance in the development of Sino-US industrial clusters. On this basis, the paper emphasizes that the enterprise, the government and the bank should work together to give full play to the combination of "government, enterprise and bank" by which multi-directional efforts can help to jointly assist Chinese enterprises to successfully deal with the risks so that losses caused by the friction can be minimized.
