近几年,广东实施名牌带动战略取得了显著的成效,尤其是2006年为历年最好的一年,广东中国名牌连续6年居全国第一,国家免检产品也连续7年居全国第一,对广东经济又好又快发展起着关键性作用.东莞市实施名牌带动战略是全省增长最快的地市.但面对全球化的产业转变和本省名牌发展不均衡的局面,广东必须进一步推进实施名牌带动战略、提高产业的竞争力,才能确保经济的持续发展.

On the Implementation of Brand-driven Strategies to Enhance the Competitive Advantage of Guangdong: Discussing from the Case of Dongguan's Brand-driven Strategies

In recent years, Guangdong has made remarkable achievements in the implementation of brand-driven strategies, especially in 2006 which is the best year of all. Guangdong has continuously ranked the first place in the number of famous brands in the whole country for six years, as well as the first place in the number of inspection-e xempted products in the whole country for seven years, which has played a key role in its good and quick economic development. Dongguan is the fastest developing city among the prefectures and cities that have implemented the brand-driven strategies. However, in the face of the situation of global transfer of industries and imbalanced development of famous brands in the province, Guangdong has to further implement its brand-driven strategies to enhance the competitiveness of its industries so as to ensure its sustainable economic development, for which this paper has put forward some policy-related suggestions.
