The New Obstacle to Free Trade:Intellectual Property Rights Barrier

In recent years, the intellectual property rights protection is advancing and it has become a new type of barrier to free trade. Based on analyses of the forms and characteristics of the intellectual property rights, the paper points out that the developing countries such as China should have a good understanding the WTO rules and take efforts to strengthen their autonomous development with their own intellectual property rights together with a sound legal system against the international intellectual property rights barrier.
