木材及其产品进口与生态环境保护

我国已成为世界第二大木材进口国,大量进口木材不仅会对木材供应国的环境承受力产生影响,而且还会影响到我国在世界可持续发展中的环境形象。森林作为整个陆地生态系统的主体在人类的可持续发展中起着至关重要的作用。而我国木材的进口规模和水平、以及能否实现以可持续发展为基础的林产品贸易不仅与世界森林资源的开发与利用息息相关,而且与全球的生态承受力紧密相连。本文通过探讨木材贸易与环境保护的关系,分析木材贸易的环境影响,并提出了为促进木材贸易与环境保护的协调发展应采取的措施。

Analysis on the Import of Timber and Its Products and Ecological Environment Protection

Our rapid economic development expands the sustained demand on timber. We ranked the second largest timber importer to the United States in the world as a result of our shortage in timber resources and domestic protection project of natural forests. Heavy import not only has an impact on the environment loading capacity, but also influences our environment image of sustainable development in the world. Being the main part of the whole eco-system of the land, forest plays a vital role in human's sustainable development. Our import scale, volume and forest trade on the basis of sustainable development will be closely connected with both the development and the utilization of the World forest and global environment loading capacity. This paper discusses the relationship between timber trade and environment protection, analyzes the impact of timber trade on environment. Measurements are put forward accordingly with an aim of promoting the coordinated development between timber trade and environment protection.
