Study on the Impact of Technological Innovation upon International Trade

Technological innovation is a way by which technology interacts with production and by which technological improvement facilitates social development. The impact of technology upon international trade lies primarily in the following:(1) the inducement of upgrading of industrial structures and the deepening of international distribution of labor,which lead to the further development of international trade;(2) the improvement of production technology and product technology which leads to the advancement of the competitive edge of internationally traded products;(3) the increase of the ratio of the technology content in the products which leads to the optimization of structure of internationally traded products;(4) the wide application of electronic commerce which leads to the efficiency of international trade.In a word,technological innovation plays an everlasting and facilitating role in international trade.
