| 摘 要： | 二次大战后,西欧曾以其坚实雄厚的工业基础、训练有素的劳动力技能以及相对稳定的政治环境而一度成为国际直接投资的热点。特别在1958年欧洲经济共同体成立后,外国企业蜂拥而至,纷纷到西欧投资设厂。以美国为例,1950年底,在美国对外直接投资累计金额中西欧仅占14.7％,为17.33亿美元,远远落后于拉丁美洲(占37.7％,44.45亿美元)和加拿大(占30.4％,35.79亿美元)。但到1962年底,美国在西欧的直接投资累计额已超过拉丁美洲,1969年底超过了加拿大。到七十年代中期,美国在西欧的直接投资累计额高达606亿美元,是美国在加拿大直接投资额的1.71倍,在拉美直接投资额的2.19倍。然而从七十年代中期起。
