| Abstract: | This article deals with issues of governmental expenditure on compulsory education in China. After studying the responsibilities of the government in financing and delivery of compulsory education, the status quo and difficulties of governmental expenditure on compulsory education are examined. In order to promote further reform in this area, we also suggested some the principles that should be abide by, detailed policy implications, and some specific measures which should be taken into account in relevant fields. |
