摘    要:最近发展区是指学生实际发展水平与潜在发展水平之间的差距。消除这一差距是教学的目标。教师应充分认识最近发展区,并发挥支架作用,促进学生潜能的发展,同时,应创设互动性的语言学习氛围,承担多重角色。

The Implications of Vygotsky's "Zone of Proximal Development" Theory for English Teaching in China

Abstract:"Zone of proximal development" is the gap between students' real standard of development and potential standard of development.To eliminate the gap is the objective of teaching.Teachers should understand it fully and give full play to it to promote students development of potential,meanwhile,create interactive language learning atmosphere and let them serve as multi roles.
