环境规制对FDI的影响

研究人员一直关注环境规制对来华FDI的影响,国际金融危机后,中国经济结构发生调整,环境规制趋严,对来华FDI产生了一定程度的影响。研究环境规制对FDI影响的主流理论为污染庇护所假说和波特理论,在此基础上分别提出了环境规制对FDI成本投资与创新投资两种效应。环境规制对FDI的影响机制包括微观与宏观两个层面。研究表明,环境规制对FDI的影响并非单纯的正面或负面,需要结合其他因素进行综合考虑,才能全面且准确地判断最终结果。

The Impact of Environmental Regulations on FDI

The impact of the environment regulation on FDI in China has been a research topic for many years. After the international financial crisis, China＇s economic restructuring and stricter environmental regulations have exerted an influence on FDI in China. Based on the two leading theories about the impact of environmental regulation on FDI, namely, pollution haven hypothesis and Porter theory, this research presents two effects of environmental regulations on FDI： investment cost effect and innovation investment effect. The mechanism of environmental regulations＇ influence on FDI includes the micro and macro aspects. The study shows that the impact of environmental reguletions on FDI is not positive only nor negative only. A comprehensive and accurate judgment of the impact should be based on the consideration of many factors.
