装饰艺术设计教学对传统工艺美术的吸收与借鉴

受西方现代艺术潮流影响,我国高等职业院校装饰艺术设计专业普遍重视学生现代审美意识和设计能力培养,轻视对中国传统工艺美术的了解和研究,造成学生设计的作品普遍存在模仿西方痕迹而缺乏本土特色。文章探讨了在装饰艺术设计专业加强对传统工艺美术本土语言的吸收与借鉴,将中国传统工艺美术顺应自然、因材施艺的技术思想和活跃性、自律性共存的本土语言融入专业教学中的有效路径。

Traditional Arts and Crafts and Teaching of Decorative Arts and Design：Assimilation and Reference

Influence by the modern Western arts trend, China＇s higher vocational colleges usually focus on developing decorative arts and design majors＇ awareness of modern aesthetics and cultivating their designing ability, but neglecting knowledge and researches of traditional Chinese arts and crafts. As a result, many students＇ designing works are only simple imitations of the Western arts but lacking in local or Chinese features.This paper discusses how to assimilate and draw lessons from ontological language of the traditional arts and crafts. The teacher should integrate his or her teaching with the thought of traditional Chinese arts and crafts,that is, works should be in conformity to nature and created according to material properties, and also integrate their teaching with ontological language characterized by changeability and self-discipline.
